moisture resistant mdf
Description: Medite MR and Finsa H Forma MR MDF are both moisture-resistant (MR) products designed for interior applications where humidity or occasional water exposure is a concern. While both serve the same general purpose, factors like specific resin formulations, fibre composition, surface finish and certifications can differentiate their performance and suitability for particular projects.
Applications: Both are excellent for environments like kitchens, bathrooms and laundry rooms where standard MDF might warp or swell over time.
moisture resistant grooved and beaded mdf
Description: Compared to Standard MDF the MR MDF substrate provides enhanced moisture resistance, making it suitable for areas with moderate humidity. Long grain and cross-grain grooves, combined with beaded detailing offer a versatile and aesthetically pleasing material. The long grain grooves (running along the length of the board) create a subtle linear texture and can visually elongate a space. Conversely, the cross-grain grooves (running perpendicular to the length) add a different dimension and visual interest. The beaded detailing, often incorporated alongside the grooves, introduces a classic and refined touch. The primed surface ensures excellent paint adhesion, allowing for a seamless and durable finish.
Applications: The ideal choice for wainscoting, wall panelling, cabinet doors and decorative trim, offering both visual appeal and functional benefits.
fire resistant euroclass b mdf
Description: Treated to achieve a Euroclass B fire rating, these boards offer a high level of fire resistance, that restricts the spread of flames and generates minimal smoke. Providing enhanced protection (compared to lower fire-rated MDF) they contribute to safer building environments by delaying fire propagation and increasing evacuation time.
Applications: Where stringent fire safety regulations are in place, such as public buildings, hospitals, schools, and transportation hubs.
fluted mdf
Our Fluted MDF combines an MDF board with advanced technology to create an embossed texture on the surface.
The dense textured surface allows for the application of different varnishes or lacquers, providing many decorative options and the ability to personalise spaces with various colours.
The flute texture adds an on-trend design and depth to interior applications such as panelling, partitions, kitchen and home furniture, shop fitting and exhibition stands.
